Anna Smith is a lifelong Springfield resident. As a young mother of two children, she has struggled with her housing situation for the last few years due to the lack of available housing and resources. The problems she was facing only got worse. Once a giant corporation came into Springfield and bought up a ton of properties that they were not equipped to maintain. Anna and her children were forced to live in inadequate conditions for two years. Her housing situation was making her family sick. Anna, and other tenants were left to deal with the problems on their own. Finally, with the help of Neighbor to Neighbor, she was able to organize the community and finally find some relief to the bad conditions. In her spare time she enjoys helping other community members fight for better conditions because housing is a human right.
