Ana was born in Bogotá, Colombia, grew up in Washington, DC and moved to Somerville for college, where she currently lives. At Tufts University, she studied anthropology, where she immersed herself in ethnographies and stories of environmental justice, immigrant and workers’ rights, and anti-capitalist imaginaries. While she wasn’t reading books, adventuring outside, or writing her thesis on farm animal sanctuaries, she spent her time in college working at a small café in Cambridge, which she still considers her second home. After graduating this past May, Ana came to N2N and is excited to grow into an organizer (hopefully) as wonderful and powerful as all her co-workers.
