Winning campaigns means putting democracy into practice along the way – and the Lynn Tenant Forum is a shining example of what that looks like.

The Worcester area was ranked the third-worst rental market in the U.S. according to Forbes data released this spring, confirming what we already know: our people are in a housing crisis.

Early this spring, Lynn members of Neighbor to Neighbor spoke to our North Shore state legislators on our experience, proposals, and solutions to the housing crisis facing our state.

Right now, at the State House, there are a number of important housing bills that would take important steps towards a more just state. Here’s a brief summary of the bills that we’re endorsing. 

This bill would dedicate funds to build and repair affordable housing that our state desperately needs. 

Now that the new City Council has been sworn in, we’re eyeing the next steps on housing in Lynn to get us closer to our vision of dignified housing we all can afford.
